Devon Prichard's Home Page
Forgive the rudimentary formatting, I'm messing around with various
freeware HTML editors and hopefully will grow this site into
something a bit more pleasing to the eye. Sadly, doing such often
results in standards-noncompliant coding. Not sure how I will deal
with that. Also note that I tend to use a lot of British-style
punctuation, as it seems more consistent and logical. Having spent
many years performing software development, chasing down matching
parentheses and quotation marks has given me a sort of OCD with
respect to punctuation. Note that I tend to use date notion in the
form YYYY-MM-DD. This is an old habit I developed while using Unix
computers. File names beginning with the date in this form, when
sorted alphabetically, appear in descending order in time. When
you're dealing with hundreds or thousands of data files, this is no
small issue.
